The NVA AP-series integrated amplifiers incorporate many of the designs and components found in the NVA P-series preamps and NVA A-series power amplifiers.

Based on the same circuit topology, each successive model invests in greater power supply resources and better quality components - in particular, the AP70 and AP80 amplifiers benefit from multiple power supplies. It's all in the name of better musical performance.

The AP10 range is a unique range of amplifiers designed to give the highest quality sound in small rooms or where output level is a secondary concern. This lends itself to some useful situations whereby other amplifiers can be too big, get too hot or don't have the sound quality you desire. These applications include personal amplifiers, single source component systems and headphone amplification.

The AP20 introduces a larger size case and supports a larger power supply and output rating. It also has the option of internal phono stage, for turntable use.

The AP50 is the highest model of the range that still features a single power supply unit. The front panel is twice as thick as AP30 and allows the source select and volume control to be partly recessed, giving a more elegant appearance. The more flexible 50W per channel power rating and competitive pricing, make this one of the most popular NVA products.

The AP70 introduces dual power supplies, so that left and right channels are truly independent. This dual mono configuration results in better stereo, dynamics and musical analysis. Due to the extra power supplies and limited room within the case, the AP70 can not be supplied with inbuilt phono stage. For this you will require an external head amp such as the Phono1 or Phono2 units, which are also better matches given the level of performance offered by this amplifier.

The AP80 forms the top of the range integrated amplifier. As with the AP70 an external phono stage must be used for connection to a turntable. The case includes four power supplies, two driving each channel.
